Default Shooting styles

Hi i though i would start this section of with a post about different styles of shooting e.g maintain lead, pull trough ect.

Personly i shoot with the pull trough style but it is just a matter of what feels most nateral and works best for you.

I find that if im shooting at a realy long bird/clay i have to shoot maintain rather than pull trough as it needs just to much leed to be able to pull trough.

If there is anyone who shoots the same way then please let me no if you change your style for the long birds/clays.

Regards Matt.

You have hit the nail on the head! To shoot big scores, or atleast to consistently tackle all types of target with a good level of sucess, different methods must be employed.
You will always have a "base" technique, however experience will tell you when this is not suitable. For example it is very hard to shoot loopers with swing through..... Learning which ones work for what birds will give you a definate edge in sporting where a wide range of birds are encountered. If you can learn to shoot all the methods then it will benefit your scores massively in the long run.
