Due to increased time commitments and volume of work in my main business (web hosting / design) it is with great sadness that I can no longer continue to give the time required to run and set up the shoot at Newbold. I would like to thank all those that have supported us at the shoot and hope you have enjoyed the shoots we put on. Recent low entries have contributed to this decision as the shoot should not jeopardise or be over subsidised in time and money by my other business. Unfortunately the loss of my friend and partner at ground Alan due to an illness that has now affected him badly for over 4 months has not helped either. I am sure you will all wish him well. The Series The series continues and is not affected, other than we will be using 3 scores from Orston Shooting Ground to complete the 12 scores possible at Newbold. The three scores that will be used will be taken from shoots on July 27th August 24th September 28th at Orston Shooting Ground Nottinghamshire. Full details here Future Shooting at Newbold I am hopeful that shooting will continue at Newbold and currently in talks with people wishing to take the ground on. If anyone else is interested in this opportunity, on one of the best grounds in the country, fully equipped and ready to run shoots then get in touch for more details. mark@worldsporting.net 07712 044660 We will bring you news of any future shoots at the ground World Sporting will continue to offer grounds the Handicap system
and we will be making a few changes in order to offer both grounds
and the shooter the only genuine alternative to the class system.
